We were honoured "Fair Festival"

We did it again! For the third time, ver.di has honoured the fairest film festivals in Germany on the basis of an employee survey. The award ceremony took place on 17 February during the Berlinale. Our festival director Sascha Keilholz and our programme manager Alfred Stumm proudly accepted the recognition "Fair Festival". The joy is all the greater because we were already awarded the fairness Label in 2022. A good working atmosphere, equal opportunities, participation and fair contractual conditions are sustainably integrated in our organisation - even though festivals and cultural institutions are facing ever greater financial challenges.

Hamburgs junger Film, the International Women's Film Festival Dortmund+Cologne, the International Film Festival Mannheim-Heidelberg, the Braunschweig International Film Festival and DOK.fest Munich also received a Fair Festival recognition. This year, the Hamburg Short Film Festival was honoured with the Fair Festivals Award. Congratulations to all the winners!
