One man takes on the whole world. Philippe Grégoire's subversive offbeat grotesque dissects notions of morality.

A harmless training exercise at Canadian customs snowballs into a comedy of absurd situations. An unfortunate sexual mishap results in officer Alexandre being suspended from duty. An encounter with a charismatic racing driver becomes the turning point at which the young man is able to fully question the boomer generation’s systemic constraints and indoctrinated truths about sexuality, morality and identity. This witty blend of social satire and coming-of-age story situated between Quentin Dupieux and Denis Côté has established Philippe Grégoire as a talented voice of Canadian cinema. Grégoire navigates intelligently through his somnambulistic excess and instils a longing for what really matters: being honest with oneself.Presented by Festival du nouveau cinéma de Montréal.
