In 2013, The Nest began documenting stories of queer life in their home country. They collected individual experiences of encounters and loss, oppression and liberation experienced by queer people in a strictly two-gender society. The result is a series of harrowing cinematic narratives that The Nest has arranged into an evening-length feature film. We will show ›The Stories of Our Lives‹ (2014) as a one-time screening. The artists have also produced a book on the subject of the film, which you can view and purchase in the Festival-Lounge Heidelberg.
