A pledge to banish boredom from everyday life and find peace with one’s environment. Above all, however, to not simply allow the latter half of one’s life to succumb to a grey routine. One day, on a whim, the depressed history teacher and upstanding family man played by Mads Mikkelsen starts having a drink early in the morning – to test out the theory that people’s alcohol blood level is naturally too low. His three best friends, also teachers, join him without hesitation. They turn it into an experiment, with crazy results. Until their families and colleagues start suspecting that something is wrong.
