Philipp Schwarz

Philipp Schwarz studied Film and Television at New York University and cinema studies at the Freie Universität Berlin. He has worked as a video editor for the Zweites Deutsches Fernsehen and as an assistant director for the Martinů Festtage Basel. Since 2016, he has regularly published essays and film reviews in outlets such as Spiegel Online, critic.de and Filmbulletin. After several years working for the marketing department of the Pierre Boulez Saal (Berlin), he joined the programming team of the IFFMH with the 2021 edition.
