Hannes Brühwiler

Hannes Brühwiler studied media and communication studies in Fribourg, Switzerland and has worked as a film curator and author since 2006. 2018 he curated the „Hollywood Blacklist“ retrospective, which was shown in Berlin, Frankfurt and Zurich. He is the founder of the American Independent Festival „Unknown Pleasures“, co-curator of the series „Hands on Fassbinder“ (2012) and „Kino-Atlas“ at the Austrian Film Museum (2015-2017). Numerous other retrospectives, including one on Hou Hsiao-hsien, Whit Stillman, Elaine May and Stanley Kubrick. Since 2009 he is a member of the editorial team of „Revolver, Zeitschrift für Film“.
