Cathrin Ehrlich

During and after her theatre studies at the FU Berlin, Cathrin Ehrlich worked as an assistant director and dramaturg at various theatres and on film productions. Her two daughters were born in 1990 and 1996. From 1991 to 2002, she managed the business of the German Academy of Performing Arts. She then worked for ZDF Theaterkanal, ZDF Kultur and the culture channel 3sat until 2014. She also organised the Baden-Baden Television Film Festival from 1995 to 2015 and took over as director in 2015 until 2021. Since 2014, she has also directed the German Television Crime Film Festival in Wiesbaden.
Cathrin Ehrlich is repeatedly active as a juror at various film festivals.
